General Questions about the Discovery Center store

What is the Discovery Center store?

  • The Discovery Center store is an educational resource center. It is intended to enhance the free learning offerings available on the Discovery Center by offering additional training and other resources to help you make creative and inspirational photos, videos, art and designs.

Is the Discovery Center store the same as the Corel eStore?

  • No. Although both stores are maintained by Corel, the Discovery Center store focuses exclusively on learning products and similar offerings, while the Corel eStore remains the best place to purchase Corel software.

    I am unhappy with my Corel software program. Can you help me?

    • If you have an issue with a Corel software program, please visit www.corel.com/support to contact a customer support representative via online chat, email or phone.

    International Orders

    Can I place an order if I don’t live in North America?

    • Yes, we accept international orders now for all downloadable products.

    Payment Information

    What payment types do you accept?

    • The Discovery Center store accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal orders. 

     

    Download Information

    How will I receive my product download?

    • The link to download your product will be displayed on the order confirmation page as soon as you have completed your purchase.
    • You will also be sent an email with a download link. If you do not receive the email within a few hours, check your spam folder to be sure the email didn't get caught. If you still can't find it, contact us at discoverycenter@corel.com
    My download link doesn't work?
    • Try opening your link in a different browser and copy-paste the download link into the browser.
    • If you are still having trouble, contact us at Discoverycenter@corel.com with your order number. 

    Shipping Information

    How do I know when my product has been shipped?
    • You will recieve a confirmation email when your product is shipped.
    Will I have to pay duty on shipped products?
    • We are currently shipping out of Canada. Customers in other jurisdictions may be responsible for paying applicable duties.

    Returns and Cancellations

    What is your return policy?

    • Products that are produced by Corel are covered under the Corel 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are unhappy with your product, you may return it within 30 days of your purchase. 
    • Some products on the Discovery Center store are created by third parties. These products are not covered under Corel's 30-day money-back guarantee and are subject to the return policies of the third party.

    Is the Corel Store secure and how is my personal information protected? 
    • Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure online commerce transactions. It encrypts all your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so it cannot be read as it travels over the Internet. 
    • If you are not using a browser which adheres to SSL Protocol and does not support 128 bit encryption, the information you provide may not be secure and we recommend that you contact Corel directly by phone to order products. 
    • A change in the URL from http:// to https:// notifies you that you are using SSL. If the URL on a page asking you to provide personal information remains as http://, beware: this may result in an insecure transmission. 
    • When processing credit card purchases over the Internet, Corel Customer Service will verify your credit card information with the appropriate financial institution prior to processing your purchase. Corel Customer Service will not supply this information to any third party. 
    • Corel will only use your credit card information for the current transaction. We do not store your credit card information. That's why you must re-enter your credit card information each time you make a purchase at the Corel Store, even if you've created an account.
